Driving & the Law

Required Documents

A valid driving licence is required at all times is Spain. Also required The vehicle log book/registration and adequate insurance also required.

An EU Driving Licence is accepted in Spain. Uk drivers should obtain an International Driving Licence from the AA

On the spot fine payment is compulsory for non residents.

Compulsory Items

Seat Belts are Compulsory for all passengers.
Children under 13 must sit in the back seat using suitable sized seat belts for the child's size and weight.

Carry both warning triangle and reflective jacket in the car or boot,and of course use if broken down etc.

You can hire a car for a day or 2 to transport you to the Airport in the UK and again on your return.
